Monthly Update From The Club President
WHAT LIES AHEAD
Our organization, RWCSDC, believing in traditional Republican principles, we encourage respectful dissent and the exchange of ideas to strengthen our Party and our Country. That principle was tested by the assassination of Charlie Kirk. His courage to debate and dialogue in the name of freedom exemplified the lifeblood of democracy. Then we saw how a young man chose evil (darkness) over civil discourse (light) and it broke our hearts. |
Personally, I am still affected by his murder. The realization that there are so many not willing to engage in conversation with logic, common sense, and civility and would rather see a young man who poured his life into building a movement rooted in faith, freedom, and love of country, a husband and father dead instead of engaging in conversation or even listening in full to what he had to say is disheartening and horrifying to say the least. |
Charlie had faith and hope in saving our youth and that is where we need to focus. Listening to the Charlie Kirk Show, the executive producer, noted TPUSA has now received 120,000 requests to start a TPUSA club in high schools, home-schools, pod-schools, and colleges through-out the United States. There are currently about 2,000 clubs established. Out of the requests 30% will likely be set up as there are multiple requests within the same schools that account for the high number. Each request is vetted, and requirements are rigorous. |
What lies ahead? What lies ahead is our will to make a difference, as individuals and as a political organization. I listened to the podcast “Behind the Scenes at Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Service” by Dr. Frank Turek, the apologetics minister and cultural commentator who spoke at Charlie’s memorial service. He was a spiritual mentor of Charlie’s and was with him on September 10th. He said Charlie’s work was not only changing lives, but he was instrumental in the political realm, gaining young peoples’ vote for Trump. Thank you, Charlie! Here is an insightful quote by Dr. Turek about politics. |

I realized that is exactly what we have been doing as an organization and need to continue. We involve ourselves with the legislation that both hurt and protect people. And we work to elect Republicans that reflect our Republican principles to that same effect. |
Please continue to read our weekly Call-To-Action email that list “to do” actions for the week. We have a fantastic legislative chair, Brita Lindstrom, that works tirelessly to keep us updated with Sacramento legislation and I consolidate emails from RPGOP San Diego and Reform California so that you have the latest updates. |
We appreciate all our members’ volunteer efforts. Let’s make a difference working together. Remember, we gain nothing if we do nothing, love people, there is hope, and never surrender! Also, do it for Charlie. |
Please pray for Charlie’s family in their time of loss, our leaders and our country. In God We Trust. |
With gratitude, Michele |
